Mississippi Department of Education strengthens driver training with a combined fleet of 16 mobile classroom-systems, 250 + simulators from Doron.

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today an additional sale of three mobile driver training systems to the Mississippi Department of Education. The repeat order brings in a combined presence of sixteen new systems with more than 250 simulators from Doron. The state-of-the-art simulator systems will be placed in custom designed, environmentally controlled trailers and will provide a mobile and dynamic training environment for the student drivers.
With a strong emphasis on driver education at Public Schools, Mississippi is among the leading states to have a proactive approach to traffic safety. “Doron’s simulators are best suited to our training needs. Each system is configured as a multiple unit classroom resulting in a high trainee/instructor ratio. It provides superior hands-on training/assessment, while achieving Specific Training Objectives (STOs). For Mississippi’s Department of Education, every system consists of a 16 simulators. The 250+ simulators contained in mobile trailers make it possible to train students at different locations implementing a successful statewide driver education program.
Doron’s simulators significantly aid the development of perceptual/cognitive skills, scanning techniques, mirror usage, critical cue recognition, decision-making skills and crash avoidance strategies.
