Doron’s 460EMS™ Driving Simulators Training Lee County Emergency Responders.
Binghamton, NY, May 2008

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. of Binghamton, NY recently delivered and installed two 460EMS Driver Training Simulation Simulators for the Lee County Division of Public Safety in Ft. Myers, Florida. The County plans to first use the 460EMS Simulators to enhance an existing driver training program for experienced and new Emergency Medical Services technicians and eventually service all County emergency responders. The system is located at the Lee Campus of Edison Community College which has partnered with the Division of Public Safety to train EMS students.

The County procured the simulators with the assistance of a state grant and included several optional features offered by Doron. The SkillTrak™ testing software and system Scenario Developer™ are such examples. Lee County procured an additional simulator to what was originally a One (1) Place 460EMS System in January of this year.

Doron has over 35 years experience in driving simulation and ongoing collaboration with traffic safety experts, emergency response and law enforcement professionals. Customers report lower training and liability costs resulting from shorter training times, lower collision rates and improved safety when using Doron simulation systems in their training programs.
