Doron Fortifies Driver Training Efforts with 3 Mobile Classrooms and 48 Simulators for the Mississippi Department of Education.

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today the sale of three Sixteen (16) Place driver training simulator systems to be used in Department of Education, Jackson, Mississippi. The simulator systems will be placed in custom designed, environmentally controlled trailers and will provide a mobile and dynamic training environment for the novice drivers.
The 400Car features a true-to-life automobile dash with speedometer, tachometer, fuel and temperature gauges. It is proven effective in DEVELOPING perceptual/cognitive skills, scanning techniques, mirror usage critical cue recognition, decision making skills, and crash avoidance strategies. It has also been proven effective in DEMONSTRATING the effects of speed, road surface conditions (dry,wet,snow,ice), and alcohol on stopping distances in complex driving situations.
The 400 series is multiple position system that is expandable to 24 cabs which creates a high trainee/instructor ratio. It provides superior hands-on training/assessment, while achieving Specific Training Objectives (STO). The energy-efficient 400 Series requires only a single 20 amp 120V circuit. The 400 series driving simulators are a welcome addition to cost conscious and safety minded organizations.
