Doron 400 Series™ 20-Place Simulator System to be used in Memphis Public Schools Driver Education Efforts.

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today the sale of a 20-Place 400Car™ driver training simulator system to be used in Memphis Public Schools, Memphis, Tennessee. The 400Car features a true-to-life automobile dash with speedometer, tachometer, fuel and temperature gauges. It is proven effective in DEVELOPING perceptual/cognitive skills, scanning techniques, mirror usage critical cue recognition, decision making skills, and crash avoidance strategies. It has also been proven effective in DEMONSTRATING the effects of speed, road surface conditions (dry,wet,snow,ice), and alcohol on stopping distances in complex driving situations.

The 400 series is multiple position system that is expandable to 24 cabs which creates a high trainee/instructor ratio. It provides superior hands-on training/assessment while achieving Specific Training Objectives (STO). The energy-efficient 400 Series requires only a single 20 amp 120V circuit. The 400 series driving simulators are a welcome addition to cost conscious and safety minded organizations.

The simulator training experience is invaluable to trainers as it allows more time with students with the additional benefit of lowering training costs through lower fuel, maintenance and insurance costs, while reducing the number of vehicles needed for training.
