Doron 450LE Driving Simulator System to Train Connecticut Law Enforcement Officers
Binghamton, NY, March 2003

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today the delivery and installation of a 2 Position 450LE™ driver training simulator system with situation display to the Department of Public Safety of the state of Connecticut. The 450LE is a fully interactive, user-friendly driving simulator system designed to provide a dynamic training environment for a wide variety of police and emergency agencies. Lieutenant Coleman of the Connecticut State Police was quoted as saying “there are many things that we can show in this simulator that we could not feasibly otherwise do in real life.”

The simulator training experience works in concert with on-course driver training programs. Training maneuvers can be practiced safely in the 450LE before transitioning to a road course. The driving compartment is based on a typical police cruiser, setting new standards for functionality and ergonomics in a law enforcement driving simulation industry.
