Training Center Goes Mobile.
Binghamton, NY, March 2002

In an effort to reach more law enforcement personnel throughout Northern California, the Santa Rosa Junior College Training Center recently customized a 53-foot trailer to accommodate a four place Advanced Mobile Operations Simulator (AMOS II™) driver training simulator system from Doron Precision Systems, Inc.

The AMOS II is a fully interactive system that focuses on the appropriate procedural tactics in emergency response and mutual-aid situations. The simulator enhances judgment, cooperation and teamwork and improves operational skills. With assistance from Doron’s engineering and service teams, the system was relocated from a training center classroom to a trailer. Both sides of the trailer slide out to provide classroom space.

In the short time since the completion of the trailer, over 300 law enforcement personnel from Northern California have been trained and certified.
