Doron 4 Position Amos II Driving Simulator System to
Train Denver County Police Officers.
Binghamton, NY, September 2002

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today the delivery and installation of an Advanced Mobile Operations Simulator II (AMOS II™) driver training system for the Risk Management Division of the city of Denver, Colorado. The AMOS II™ is a fully interactive driving simulator that focuses on the appropriate tactics and procedures in emergency or mutual-aid situations. Multiple operator units can be linked with the Instructor/Dispatch station.

The simulator training experience works in concert with on-course driver training programs. Corporal Chagollas of Denver County Sheriff’s Department was quoted saying “the system tells a lot about the driving habits of the officers.” Training maneuvers can be practiced safely in the AMOS II before transitioning to a road course.
