Doron 450LE Driving Simulator System to Train California Law Enforcement Officers.
Binghamton, NY, September 2002

Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today the delivery and installation of a 4 Position 450LE™ driver training simulator system to the Tulare-Kings Counties Public Safety Training Center located in Visalia, California. The 450LE is a fully interactive driving simulator system designed to provide a dynamic training environment and has been developed specifically to cater to the needs of police and emergency operations agencies.

The Tulare-Kings Counties Public Safety Training Center (http://academy.sequoias.cc.ca.us) works towards training personnel and enhancing safety standards, not only for law enforcement but also for firefighting and similar emergency operations. The simulator training experience works in concert with on-course driver training programs. Training maneuvers can be practiced safely in the 450LE before transitioning to a road course. The driving compartment is based on a typical police cruiser, setting new standards for functionality and ergonomics in a law enforcement driving simulator.
